The structure was installed in 2004 for a purely practical purpose - to hide cabinets of electrical networks and communications. The idea was put forward by josé Esparducer, chief urban engineer.
Sculpture En homenatge als dolçainers i tabaleters (a Tribute to the flute and the drum) it is dedicated to traditional characters of city holidays and was opened in 2006.
It is interesting that the author, Vicent Varella, included a woman in the orchestra, which is not generally accepted...
On the corner of the square, you can enjoy coffee at the bar Urbano, designed in the form of a double-Decker city bus.
